Gen C LLC is the operator of the Gen C company website, Gen C Portal, ARTIFACT and the Vouch public concept site. For privacy questions or questions about information you have shared, contact David at david@genc.works.
Company website. Ask Gen C matches your question to prepared answers in the page; it does not make a live AI request or read your accounts. The project brief is composed in the page. Copy asks your browser to put the brief on your device’s clipboard; Open email draft requests a draft in your chosen email application. You review and send the message yourself to hello@genc.works. Preparing or copying a brief does not submit it to Gen C. Your email application may store or synchronize a draft before you send it. An email you send includes your sender details, message and any attachments you add.
Portal guest requests. The guest path at /request requires a reply email and message, accepts an optional name, and prepares an email preview for review, Copy or Open email draft. You must send the email yourself to hello@genc.works; this page cannot confirm sending or receipt. The guest draft is held only in the current page. Cancel or reload clears the application’s draft. The guest form has no Keep request on this tab option and does not create an account or saved shared workspace record.
Retained account briefs. The separate company/ARTIFACT account-brief path offers Keep request on this tab. Choosing it stores the request and later edits in this tab’s session storage through sign-in/reload. Explicit workspace review binds the draft to the current account and workspace; Save task brief shares it there. Before a save attempt, Discard can remove the retained browser draft. Clearing browser storage does not erase a saved Portal record.
Portal accounts and shared work. Email/password and optional Google sign-in use Firebase Authentication. Verification and reset emails are handled through Firebase; the Portal API receives identity tokens rather than your password. Portal stores account/workspace memberships and the records you explicitly save, such as messages, briefs and documents. Submitted files are stored privately, with a separate file ledger. Saved workspace material is shared with Gen C and the members permitted to access that workspace; Studio operators have administrative visibility. Studio also maintains operational, contact, project, task and invoice-reference records. Those records have separate access rules. Portal currently uses Cloudflare Workers, D1 and R2 for application records and files. Signing out or clearing a draft does not erase saved records or uploads.
ARTIFACT. Public gallery pages require no account. Artwork shortlists and appearance preferences use browser local storage. Natalia’s inquiry draft is stored locally only after you choose to remember it and activate Save draft; Clear draft or unchecking that choice removes the saved note. Inquiry preparation displays a local note. Copy requests clipboard copying and Download requests a local file download; neither submits the note to the gallery or sends it to an artist. Contacting an artist through Instagram requires your own navigation and manual message.
ARTIFACT service briefs can continue to Portal after review. The link carries readable brief content in its URL fragment; encoding is not encryption. Avoid private information in a link you might copy or share. Portal retention and Save follow the separate account-brief path above; account access also processes identity information. Clearing the ARTIFACT draft does not retract a copied/downloaded note, a sent message or a saved Portal record. Gallery previews and enquiries do not themselves purchase or reserve artwork, book a service or agree price, scope or reproduction rights.
Vouch. The public concept site has no account, submission form or application datastore. Its optional Precision appearance uses the browser’s vouch-appearance-v1 local-storage key; Editorial/reset removes it. That preference is separate from any script or processing added by the hosting service.
Storage and external services. Portal and some ARTIFACT pages cache public application assets in the browser. Browser site-data controls can remove local storage and caches; clipboard, downloaded files and email copies are separate. Hosting and email services also process technical information. Their exact logs, cookies, storage locations and retention have not been confirmed for this common notice. No common retention schedule or formal deletion procedure is currently documented. You can contact David with questions about access, correction or deletion; this contact does not promise a particular process or deadline.
If you choose Leave a tip on the company website or Portal, an ordinary link takes you to a separate Stripe checkout. It is an optional one-time thank-you for work already provided and is not required to use the tools. Stripe handles information entered or collected there under its Privacy Policy; collection can occur before a payment is completed. The transaction details made available to Gen C and their retention have not been confirmed for this notice. Email, Instagram and other linked services also have their own processing. This notice does not establish their retention or deletion practices.
